Frequently Asked
What is When Helping Becomes a Habit and who is it for?
It is a six-week live virtual program for women who have spent years showing up for everyone else and are ready to understand why — and what it costs them. It is designed for caregivers, coaches, teachers, helping professionals, and anyone whose identity has become deeply tied to being needed. The program combines nervous system education, The Empowerment Dynamic framework, and practical tools to help you move from compulsive helping to chosen care.
How is this different from therapy?
Coaching and therapy are complementary, not competing — much the way acupuncture or massage works alongside conventional medicine rather than replacing it. Therapy explores the past to heal wounds. Coaching works from where you are now toward where you want to be. This program does not diagnose or treat — it builds awareness, skills, and a new way of responding. If you are also working with a therapist, this work can deepen that process considerably.
How do I know if I am ready?
You are ready if you recognize a pattern you want to change, you are willing to look honestly at what that pattern is giving you, and you can commit the time and energy the work requires. You do not need to have it all figured out — you just need to be done pretending the current way is working.
Do I need experience with coaching or TED* frameworks?
No. The program is designed to be fully accessible whether you have never heard of the Drama Triangle or have been working with these frameworks for years. What matters is not what you know coming in — it is your willingness to apply what you discover.
What happens after I reach out?
We will schedule a brief conversation — no pressure, no pitch. You will have a chance to ask questions, share what brought you here, and get a clear sense of whether this program is the right fit for you right now. If it is, we will talk next steps. If it is not, I will say so honestly.
